the artist
I am an inspired venturing artist, born and raised on the South Pacific Island of Surigao Del Norte, Philippines. I am currently living in the beautiful countryside of Virginia. Between the beautiful rolling hills and Shanandoah Valley of Virginia, and the energy of Washington DC, I found an incredible balance in my present day life. This has been instrumental to the inspiration of my art.

To me art is an inward expression of all the observations around in life and nature. What my eyes see blended with what my soul experiences through God, friendships, and moments is my view of the world around me. Ever since I was a young girl, I have had a love for nature, people, and places expressed in art. I remember when I was in grade school my teacher made me draw an entire book for her modules. She always encouraged my artistic tendencies and believed in my potential as an artist. That was when I knew what I wanted to do one day when I grew up.

I started as a full-time artist in early 2021. Moving from a safe job to pursuing my dream can be incredibly overwhelming and challenging. Looking back, it was the best decision I have ever made.

My art has connected me to a higher source outside of myself. For me, it is a spiritual journey and one that connects me with God.
My hope is all that view my work, will see into a piece of me and all that my creator has inspired me to do.
